Kaeng Krachan National Park protects an immense area of wilderness (almost 3000 square kilometres) & is a great place to record sounds and photograph nature. It is teeming with wildlife, including wild elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, gibbons and about 400 species of birds, although they are not all so easy to see!
This album is the fourth in the series ‘Sounds of Wild Thailand’ and features the serene sounds of a stream flowing through the Thai rainforest with natural ambience of birds and insects in the background. Recorded in Kaeng Krachan National Park in 2014. This album is particularly well-suited for relaxation, tinnitus masking or as a sleeping aid.
Bird species recorded include: Green-legged Partridge, Collared Owlet, Banded Kingfisher, Greater Coucal, Great Hornbill, Blue Pitta, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Abbot’s & Puff-throated Babblers, Blue-eared & Green-eared Barbets, Asian Fairy Bluebird, Ochraceous Bulbul, White-rumped Shama, and more.
