Recorded deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon, this album features a diversity of nocturnal sounds including the calls of owls, potoos, tinamous, frogs, and a myriad of insects. Gentle rain showers drift over the forest at a couple of points during the night, and the occasional splashes and subtle breathing of an Amazonian River Dolphin can be heard from the river nearby.
