The Little Corella (Cacatua sanguinea) is a small species of cockatoo native to Australia and parts of southern New Guinea. It can be found in a variety of habitats from arid deserts and woodlands to urban parks and gardens. They are highly gregarious birds, often forming large flocks that can number in the thousands. Little Corellas are known for their comical, playful antics, often seen tumbling and interacting with one another while perched or in flight.

What does a Little Corella sound like? Little Corellas are a noisy species, making loud multi-note chuckling calls, wavering squawks and harsh screeches. The sound of a huge flock of Little Corellas is a raucous, chaotic chorus of screeching and shrieking, as hundreds or even thousands of birds call at once.
