Album Release: Sounds of Wild Thailand I – Thailand’s Tropical Rainforest
Following a couple of trips to Thailand in 2014, I’ll be releasing a series of albums showcasing the diverse beauty of Thailand’s wild places.
Today, the first album of the series ‘Sounds of Wild Thailand’ has been released – “Thailand’s Tropical Rainforest“. Featuring the sounds of gentle rain and thunder, along with the calls of hornbills, gibbons and an abundance of other birdlife, this album showcase some of the most beautiful sounds of Thailand’s rainforest. For photos, track notes and more information visit the album page.
The album was recorded in Kaeng Krachan National Park, an immense wilderness reserve (almost 3000 square kilometres) straddling the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Kaeng Krachan is home to an abundance of wildlife, including wild elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, gibbons and about 400 species of birds.
More albums from Thailand to follow soon!
