First Light at Chiltern, Victoria, Australia

Recorded on a chilly spring morning at dawn in Chiltern-Mount Pilot National Park, Victoria, Australia. I positioned the microphones in a grassy meadow surrounded by box-ironbark woodland. Australian Magpies and Willie Wagtails sing from the meadow while a variety of bushland bird species can be heard in the forest in the background. In the distance frogs call from a nearby reedy creek bed.
