Frog Chorus in the Australian Outback

Recorded by a small waterhole at Bowra Station in outback Queensland, this recording features the calls of at least four frog species – Litoria peroni, Litoria rubella, Litoria latopalmata & Limnodynastes fletcheri.

Barking Marsh Frog (Limnodynastes fletcheri)

Limnodynastes fletcheri, sometimes called the ‘Barking Frog’ due to it’s call. Also known as Long-thumbed Frog or Fletcher’s Frog.

Litoria rubella

Litoria rubella is also known as the Desert Tree Frog or Little Red Tree Frog .

Peron's Treefrog (Litoria peronii)

Litoria peronii is also known as Peron’s Tree Frog, Emerald-spotted Tree Frog, or Laughing Tree Frog.

Litoria latopalmata
