North-east New South Wales Field Recording Trip

by | Jul 4, 2013 | Australia

Tomorrow I’ll be heading up to north-eastern New South Wales where I’ll visit various national parks and wild areas to record some new nature soundscapes.

I’m especially looking forward to spending a few nights in the Border Ranges, a significant area of World Heritage-listed forest – which forms part of the Gondwana Rainforests protected area. I hope to record the spectacular song of the Albert’s Lyrebird and many other subtropical species that are generally not found further south.

Hopefully the weather will stay pleasant after all the rain we have just had! Updates will be posted asap…..
