New Album: Andalucian Dawn

by | Sep 2, 2014 | Location & Trip Updates

A new album is now available – “Andalucian Dawn”! This album was recorded in late spring in the temperate forests of the Sierra de las Nieves, Andalucia, Spain.

Bumblebees are buzzing, and the warm air is full of birdsong. The album begins in the early morning darkness with a family of Tawny Owls calling occasionally before settling down in their daytime roost. The soft trilling of a Eurasian Nightjar can be heard in the still morning air. As the day brightens, many bird species sing including Common Blackbird, European Robin, Blackcap, Great Tit, Eurasian Wren, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Great Spotted & Iberian Green Woodpecker.
