Melbourne Museum – Childrens Gallery
Nature sounds by Wild Ambience have been incorporated into a number of interactive, educational exhibits for children at the Melbourne Museum, and also in a soundscape composition for the garden area of the Children’s Gallery.
The Amber Theatre created a soundscape for the garden at Melbourne Museum’s Children’s Gallery and incorporated nature sounds by Wild Ambience into the composition. Specifically, the sounds of the ‘pobblebonk’ or Eastern Banjo Frog (a type of Australian frog with an unusual banjo-like call) were mixed into the soundscape to create playful melodies and patterns to appeal to young children.
Other interactive exhibits at the museum incorporated Australian bird calls by Wild Ambience to enhance the user experience.
