Musician Wren (Cyphorhinus arada)

The Musician Wren (Cyphorhinus arada) is species of wren found in South America named for its melodic, musical song. It is found in lowland tropical rainforest and spends much of its time foraging in undergrowth near to the ground. 

What does a Musician Wren sound like? The song of the Musician Wren is superbly melodic and consists of phrases featuring rich fluty notes in elaborate musical patterns. These phrases are often repeated several times before switching to a different motif. Gurgling calls and buzzing sounds are often given between phrases. Musican Wrens also make harsh churring calls.
