Red-tailed Black Cockatoo

Red-tailed Black Cockatoo calls consist mainly of creaky, grating squawks and plaintive ‘kee’ squeals. These calls are a common sound of open woodlands and savannas of tropical northern Australia.
The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii) is a large species of cockatoo found across most of tropical northern Australia, parts of central Australia and inland Queensland and NSW, as well as in south-west Western Australia.
