The Common Spotted Cuscus (Spilocuscus maculatus) is a species of arboreal marsupial found in rainforest in Cape York Peninsula, Australia as well as throughout the lowlands of much of New Guinea and some satellite islands. 

What does a Common Spotted Cuscus sound like? Common Spotted Cuscus make loud squeaky coughs and strange growls and barks when in territorial disputes This species is generally solitary and interactions between rivals can be noisy affairs with much chasing and squabbling. Females in oestrous have been reported giving braying calls.
