The Lowland Paca (Cuniculus paca) is a large rodent found in the neotropics. They inhabitat a variety of habitats, and are most abundant in forest near water sources such as rivers and streams.
What does a Lowland Paca sound like? Lowland Pacas are mostly quiet, although they have been documented making a range of vocalizations including squeals, snorts, whistles, barks, cries and a distinctive rumbling sound.
