The Australasian Figbird (Sphecotheres vieilloti) is a medium sized frugivirous songbird found in northern and eastern Australia. They are often found in urban parks and gardens where there are fruiting trees. 

What does an Australasian Figbird sound like? Typical calls of the Australasian Figbird include downslurred, churry whistles ‘tu-heer tu-heer’, fluty melodic notes and squeaky chattering sounds. They have a complex song which often includes mimicry of other species.
