The Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus) is a striking, multi-coloured species of lorikeet found in eastern Australia. 

What does a Rainbow Lorikeet sound like? Rainbow Lorikeets make loud screeching calls, squawks & whistles. Like other species of lorikeets, they are a noisy and gregarious birds, and can often be heard as they fly overhead or are feeding on the nectar of flowering trees. Their calls are a familiar sound of forests & woodlands in many parts of Australia.
